This is a photo of me playing at the Cambridge Union in 1968 (I think). It appears in the book about Nick Drake 'Remembered for a While', alongside a photo of Nick hunched over a guitar, and I had forgotten how similar we looked at that time (ish)

TWO'S COMPANY This is me playing with Louise Evans: we had a duo, and great fun, in the 1980s. I am personally trying to revive the use of padded shoulders.

This photo of me was taken c. 1976 by Chris Matthews - before we had actually met. I was doing a guest spot for Bridget St. John. Subsequently, Chris became a very close friend and colleague, and his brilliant playing and production skills have been, and still are, invaluable
